Captain Comptroller made his debut in this show, though he had been mentioned prior to the episode.
Shortly before this show was performed, a deal was reached to move the production to MadLab theatre in Columbus. Info sheets were given to audience members at this show, which would be the last monthly Radio Hour at Packrat Comics. Cast sentiment was divided on whether the move should occur, but no troupe members were left behind in the transition.
This show marked the start of a six-part Universe Journey mini-series, "March to War," which served as the second half of season one. Jerome remarked at the end that it was a fun experiment, but it wouldn't be repeated any time soon. However, audience and cast opinion were mostly positive. The show would become much more serialized as time went one, with the fourth season of UJ being very much so.
Shane Stefanchik performed a brief comedy magic act to warm up the crowd.
The intro was read by Dallas Ray. Jerome Wetzel also spoke about the move.
