Something's Wrong Here" is the second episode of the first season of Travels With T.I.M., a segment of It's All Been Done Radio Hour. It was the third segment of Show LXIV. It was performed on October 10th, 2020. It has not yet been released on the podcast.

The Story

This episode takes place only moments later from the first. T.I.M. stops in the backyard of a house that looks Earth Victorian, but is on the planet Sion in the Galactica star cluster. Litcone Firest and Ezra Ford step out. The former thinks the house looks exotic, and doesn't believe Ezra when he notes the similarity to his own world. They are interrupted as J'Ohn, who is definitely not a human but speaks English, exits the house into the yard. He stops a respectful distance away and greets them.

Litty asks if J'Ohn has anything to eat, and he escorts her into the house. At T.I.M.'s urging, a nervous Ezra follows. The inside is well-decorated in a style consistent with the exterior, though with objects clearly built for the local alien inhabitants, but is covered in a thick layer of dust. J'Ohn escorts them to a sitting room and tells them to have a seat, uncovering a setee, and then leaves the room.

Litty immediately begins examining the shelves. She and Ezra argue over whether taking things is stealing, since she claims the objects are definitely not being used. They are interrupted by J'Anet, who asks them to have a seat multiple times, ignoring Litty's offer to clean her valuables, especially the ones hidden away upstairs. Litty asks about food again, revealing a sad bit about her upbringing and hunger. J'Anet tells them to wait for 'him,' but won't specify who 'he' is.

He turns out to be Melvin Dirt, who is surprised to see another human. Melvin asks how they got here, and perks up when Ezra reveals they didn't travel by spaceship. Mevlin tells them these people are his unpaid help and this is his world. J'Ohn, who returned with Melvin, and J'Anet echo that they serve the Dirt. They appear to be brainwashed, and as Mevlin seems sinister, Ezra and Litty excuse themselves and leave, which Melvin allows.

In the backyard, T.I.M. asks about their adventure. Ezra is upset about Melvin enslaving the locals, but Litty just wants to go. Until T.I.M. reveals that the technology controlling the aliens is nearby and he can't shut it off remotely. Then, Litty is all for T.I.M. acting, not wanting to risk her own neck, but happy to take down a dictator if she can do so safely. The machine does so, and they leave Sion.

Back in the house, J'Ohn and J'Anet wake up from Dirt's control and make him clean their house.

Jerome confirmed that Melvin Dirt is in some way related to Universe Journey character Harry Dirt. The year this story takes place in is not revealed, making it impossible to determine the connection at this time.
