Story[]

Stan was one of several people who called in the first day Morning Show returned after the zombie outbreak. He loves Petula Clark, and will be seventy-two next Tuesday (at the time of the episode). Gus Goodall jokingly asks how he'll spend his last year on Earth. Stan replies dinner with the grandkids, though quips that if his daughter-in-law cooks, he probably won't get another year. Gus calls him 'Stan the Man' and tells Stan to leave the jokes to him.

Stan bites back, then asks with the evidence in front of them, how can Shelly Meyers keep claiming that zombies aren't real? Shelly gives him an explanation of how the term relates to film and isn't quite accurate. Pat Shock says they need to stick together to survive this. Stan asks why Pat is so confident they'll get past this, and Pat replies that he just is.
